This is a 400g kit to make the Colourbar Hat pattern (ravelry link) designed by me for Pom Pom Issue 44. This kit is "the works" because it includes more than enough yarn to make the hat and THEN some..maybe a sweater yoke?! I'd love to see it!

Included in this set is 8x 50g half skeins in the colorways "Vik" (black), "Feeling My Oats" (warm beige), "Hansa" (yellow), "Amalia's Dahlias" (neon pink), "Clementine" (reddish orange), "Electric Kraken" (cobalt blue), "Tremolo" (subtler cyan), and "Verdant" (warm green).

Yarn A (regular brim): Vik (black); One 20g skein
Yarn A (folded double brim): Vik (black); One 50g skein
Yarn B: Natural by Nature (beige); One 20g skein
Yarn C: Hansa (yellow); One 50g skein
Yarn D: Clementine (red-orange); One 20g skein
Yarn E: Amalia’s Dahlias (magenta); One 20g skein

Note: To make the optional pompom you will need an additional  46-70yds / 42-64m / 20-30g of DK-weight yarn in various colors.

YARN DETAILS: RAD DK 50g
• 100% superwash merino wool
• 4-ply construction
• 50g = 116 yards / 106 meters
• Knitting : US 5-7 / 3.75-4.5mm
• 5-6 stitches per inch
• hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry

Kindred Red yarns are all hand-dyed with love, using professional acid dyes. Though rinsed thoroughly, color bleeding may occur on first few washes, especially on highly saturated colors.

Dyed in small batches, each skein is unique; two from the same batch might take on different dye amounts! When in doubt, alternate between two skeins to avoid an obvious color shift on larger projects.

Colors are photographed as accurately as possible during daylight, so the yarn is in its best light, but various devices show colors differently.
